Nexus 7 adalah tablet pertama di dunia yang menggunakan sistem Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, dan dipersenjatai dengan prosesor quad-core Tegra 3 dengan RAM 1GB. ASUS juga menyatakan bahwa tablet ini mampu memainkan multimedia (video, musik, dll) selama 9,5 jam tanpa henti.
Nexus 7 menggunakan layar 7-inch, 1280 x 800 HD display, dilengkapi dengan teknologi Asus “TruVivid”. Tampilannya modern dilengkapi dengan teknologi NFC. Tablet ini juga terintegrasi langsung dengan Google Play.

Harga ASUS Nexus 7
Saat ini, Nexus 7 belum resmi dipasarkan, walaupun telah diumumkan pada Juni lalu. Seperti yang diberitakan, harga Nexus 7 adalah $199 (sekitar 1,9 juta rupiah) dan akan mulai dipasarkan pada pertengahan Juli 2012.
