Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance on Rolling Loud over the weekend amid ongoing drama involving his wife, Hailey Bieber, and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Fans erupted in cheers when the pop star, 29, hopped on stage at the Los Angeles Music Festival on Saturday night to join Don Toliver in singing their new song, “Private Landing.”
A concertgoer tells Page Six that Justin’s performance was “amazing” and that “the crowd was going crazy for him.”
The surprise appearance came just days after Justin canceled the rest of his “Justice World Tour” dates without explanation.
Reps for Justin and Ticketmaster did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Many fans speculated that Justin’s past health problems may have been the cause, as he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome – a neurological disorder characterized by facial paralysis – in June 2022.
The diagnosis forced the Grammy winner to postpone the American leg of his tour to recover.
“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an attempt to continue the tour. I performed six live shows, but it really took a toll on me,” he told his fans three months later and once again pressed pause on the tour.
However, Justin appeared healthy and energetic at Rolling Loud, which continues to fuel rumors that he pulled the plug on his last set of shows due to all the backlash Hailey has received for appearing to bully Gomez, 30, online.
In January, Hailey, 26, posted a since-deleted TikTok in which she, Kendall Jenner and Justine Skye said the audio, “I’m not saying she deserved it, but God’s timing is always right.”
Social media users suspected the video was in reference to Gomez, who at the time had just opened up about being body-slammed.
Apparently, Gomez was thinking the same thing when she responded to one of her many fans who defended her in the comments, “It’s ok! I don’t let these things get me down! Be nice everyone! x.”
Hailey denied that the clip had anything to do with Gomez. However, the model found itself in an even stickier situation the following month.
“I accidentally laminated my eyebrows too much,” Gomez admitted to her Instagram followers at the time in a selfie-style video.
Shortly after, Kylie Jenner shared a photo of her own eyebrows and wrote: “Was this an accident?”
She then posted a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Hailey that showed them zooming in on their brows.
Hailey and Jenner, 25, were quickly labeled “mean girls,” though the “Kardashians” star insisted her post wasn’t about Gomez.
But fans weren’t buying it, and the actress has since surpassed Jenner as the most followed person on Instagram. In contrast, the beauty moguls have lost millions of followers in the past few weeks.

In the midst of the feud, a clip resurfaced showing Hailey co-hosting “Drop the Mic” and gambling at the mere mention of Taylor Swift.
Gomez jumped in to defend her friend, commenting on the video: “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”
Gomez and Hailey’s beef goes way back, as Justin proposed to his now-wife in 2018 — just a few months after he walked away from his first love for good.
