MTV’s “The Challenge” star Nelson Thomas‘ GoFundMe is getting serious support after his car accident, with some of the donations coming from other reality stars.
The charity campaign quickly took off after going live earlier this week – and reality TV fans will certainly recognize some of the names coming up with cash. nury’s mateo and Tori dealwho both starred on “The Challenge,” lost $1K each … while Mark Long and Corey Lay from the series also ante’d up donations.
Outside of Nelson’s ‘Challenge’ crew… Nicholas Maccarone from “Big Brother” brought in $250, “Wild ‘N Out” star Justina Valentine gave $500 which did Maria Menounos.
Zak Longo from MTV’s “Are You the One?” gave $5,000 … moving the campaign closer to its $200,000 goal.
As we reported, Nelson was injured in a fiery crash in Austin, TX earlier this month. Minnesota Vikings receiver KJ Osborn and a few others were able to save him from the wreckage.
Nelson ended up in pretty bad shape – he showed off some of his cuts and burns from his hospital bed and said he was make it better but has a way to go.
That GoFundMeorganized by a friend of his, will go towards medical bills and other expenses that may arise.
