This Sunday the Mississippi Gulf Coast Ballet Theater will host its annual Sugar Plum Fairy Tea.
The tea party is 3 pm to 5 pm Sunday at the D’Iberville Community Center. Tickets are $30.
Characters from The Nutcracker ballet will lead the party while guests enjoy sipping hot cocoa with marshmallows, peppermint sticks and eating fancy desserts.
Guests will be able to decorate cupcakes, create their own glitter fairy slime, paint an angel ornament and decorate their crowns and wands.
A free photo booth will be available for guests to make their own picture with their fairy keepsake ornament.
“It’s going to be well worth it,” said Executive Director Elaine Kulick. “It’s a lot of fun. The kids have a great time participating in all the activities. Biloxi Bounce House is going to be there for jumping fun.
“There will be lots of yummy desserts and treats and a lot of chocolate — and Krispy Kreme Donuts has Nutcracker flavors now and we are going to try that and check that out. But it’s going to be so much fun, we’re so excited.”
