Nintendo expands Switch Online Game Boy, SNES & NES service with four more titles

Nintendo has announced a new batch of games for the Switch Online service. The latest additions are part of the standard tier – adding two Game Boy titles, an SNES title and an original NES game.

This includes the 1995 Game Boy release Kirby’s Dream Land 2, Data East’s 1991 Game Boy game BurgerTime Deluxe, the 1993 Data East game Side pocket and the classic Namco arcade shoot ’em up Xevious.

Here’s the full breakdown, courtesy of Nintendo’s PR:

GameBoy

Kirby’s Dreamland 2 – The bridges connecting the seven rainbow islands have disappeared! Help Kirby solve the mystery as you battle King Dedede and his horde of henchmen. Meet Rick, Kine and Coo along the way – each possessing important abilities that will help Kirby save the day!

Burger Time Deluxe – It’s a non-stop food fight in this classic arcade game! Give Chef Peter Pepper a hand and create the ultimate burger by traversing an action-packed kitchen to gather your ingredients – but watch out, because ambushed ingredients will stop at nothing to put an end to your cooking days.

Super NES

SIDE POCKET – You might be able to play it cool behind the queue in the Nine Ball Game and Pocket Game, but do you have what it takes to finesse with the best in the challenging Trick Game? Make use of a variety of shots in both solo and multiplayer modes and get ready to rack ‘n’ roll in this pool game originally released for the Super NES in 1993!

NES

XEVIOUS – You are humanity’s last hope against the sinister XEVIOUS collective! Pilot the Solvalou Fighter and its many different weapons in your mission to destroy XEVIOUS aircraft and bases deep behind enemy lines. XEVIOUS stood out from its mid-80s contemporaries with its unique enemy types, hidden gameplay features, and many different vertically scrolling environments. Ask yourself, are you sneaky enough to strike XEVIOUS?
