The upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake on PS5 will have its distractingly intense weather effects dialed back in response to fan feedback. The unfortunate design choice was first noticed in a recent Game Informer gameplay video.
Speaking to Press Start Australia, Resident Evil 4 producer Hirabayashi Yoshiaki acknowledged fans’ concerns, stating, “We’ve seen everyone’s reaction to the rain effects, and we’re working on a day-one patch to make adjustments.”
In other Resi 4 news, the anticipated remake will feature prominently during Capcom’s Spotlight stream, which takes place today with the main show starting at 2:30 p.m. PT. In addition, a mysterious ARG site related to the game called “Baby Eagle is Missing” recently appeared online.
